How long does delivery take?

All the items on our website are handmade by us just for you, please do allow time for us to make your item.

As soon as your order is ready to go we will send you over an email letting you know.

turnaround time is up to 10 working days over busy periods, at the moment we are working at upto 2-5 working days

Once posted it should reach you within 1-3 days on 1st class orders to the UK and 3-10 Ireland. This can vary depending on time of year. 

 SHIPPING TO IRELAND HAS BEEN TEMPORARILY TURNED OFF. (Northern Ireland orders can be placed as normal)

** We have noticed more Ireland customers using AdressPal to have their orders shipped over to Ireland while we are unable to send. I will attach the link to the AddressPal website incase you are interested and want to have your bows sent. 

This disruption is being caused by the implementation of new import controls once items reach Ireland. 

International orders may take slightly longer.

 We aim to get your items out to you as fast as possible but we put 100% into making each item to make sure it is perfect for you.

Countries within the EU

Brexit means that as of 1st July 2021 it is so much harder to ship from the UK to countries within the EU. There is a new rule that means all orders under £135 (around150 euro) have some new VAT rules.

International Duties

All international orders are subject to their own countries import rules.  You may be charged VAT or Sales Tax, Import Duty and/or a handling fee. You can look at your countries governments rules to find out more about this.  

PLEASE NOTE: if you refuse to pay these charges then the shipper may decide to destroy the parcel instead of return it to sender,  we will not be responsible for any import charges nor any destroyed parcels,  import duty and fees is purely the responsibility of the purchaser. 

Which side clip does my little one need?

If your little one wears her clips on her right side she would need the right side option, if she wears her clips on her left side she would need the clip clip option.

 What fabrics do you have available? 

We use 100% wool felt, glitter fabric, ribbon, faux leather,linen and cotton. 

What clips/headbands do you use?

We use lined crocodile clips on most of our items. We also use gold snappy clips on selected items, these also come in two sizes depending on the thickness of hair. Our smaller flower clips are also available on small gold alligator clips which have a fantastic grip for fine hair.

For our headbands we use soft elastic which is very soft and stretchy on babies heads. We have this available in normal size and a skinny band. Nylon bands are also available which are soft and stretchy.

I have found a bow headband I like but I would like it as a clip, is this possible? 

Yes of course, Any item on the website can be made as a clip or headband. If you can't find the item you like as a clip/headband you can order the one you like and leave us a note at check out that you would like it as a headband/clip instead and we will make that up for you :)

Do you sell newborn headbands?
Yes we do :) all our bows are handmade to order so they can be made for any age. Use pop your little ones age at check out and we will make sure you have right size. 

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Everything on our website is handmade to order.

Please allow up to 3-14business days until items are dispatched. If you need your order for a set date please contact us, we always do our best to help you have your items in time for a special occasion. Please allow a further 1-3 days for delivery in the UK. International orders may take up to 4 weeks.  During our busy periods our turnaround time may take up to 14 days. All orders are beautiful packaged in boxes and sent first class with proof of postage obtained.

The Bow Boutique is not responsible for any lost mail or delays caused by the mail service. Once your item is posted it is with the Royal Mail and out of The Bow Boutique's control. All orders will be posted to the address given at time of payment. The Bow Boutique cannot be held responsible for sending to the wrong address given. Please be aware that you are responsible for any import fees, duties, declared value fees or taxes based on you individual countries specific import laws. By purchasing you are agreeing to these terms.

RETURNS

Returns will only be accepted if the item is damaged and returned unused in original packaging within 14 days. All custom orders are non returnable unless an error has been made with your order. Return shipping is at the expense of the buyer for refunds and exchanges. Refunds will not be given if an order is not received in time for purpose if it has been posted within time frames stated above. Please Email thebowboutique@outlook.com with any questions.

SAFETY

Please use all headbands and clips with adult supervision. DO NOT leave your child unattended while wearing any headband or clip as some may contain small parts which maybe pulled of and cause chocking. Do not let your child nap wearing hair accessories. You assume any and full responsibility for the safety of your child.
